My name is Sarah White and I am the owner of SW Horses.

​I became involved with horses at the age of 3, owning my first pony at age 8. I progressed to British Showjumping (BS) with my first horse, at the age of 19 and have also competed in British Dressage (BD). I have had success at hand showing in National Competitions. Previously I have evented; hunted and qualified for national Ridden Showing Competitions.

During my career I have worked at riding schools; livery, event and racing yards and for the RDA. This includes eight years at Crabbet Park Equitation Center under Val Lee BHSI Chief Examiner and also for Tim McCarthy; racehorse trainer. I have obtained qualifications including BHS1; NVQ2 and Advanced National Certificate (ANC), along with a Certificate of Competence in Animal Transport, Riding and Road Safety and Equine First Aid. I am also DBS checked.

I have had a lot of experience in breaking and re-training many different types of ponies and horses for both ridden and driving work; across a range of ages. Some horses have been unhandled; some come with a good introduction to groundwork and others have had shattered confidence. My approach is sympathetic and firm; catering to the horse's background and needs.

I also enjoy and know how important it is to work with people, I love sharing my knowledge as much as I enjoy gaining knowledge.

I have had the pleasure of working with lots of adults and children with special needs and have an SEN daughter of my own.

I also enjoy participating in alternative equine events such as Agility; Trec; Western Trail/riding and sidesaddle.
